WebDec 23, 2024 · I use two Orange Pi PC2 v1.1 boards and two SD cards with proper 5V 2A power, HDMI, Keyboard, no Ethernet plugged; also tried with disconnected HDMI and no USB devices. All combinations of boards and cards boot fine with armbian, but I did not manage to find any other Debian-based image which can boot properly.

WebI definitely recommend trying the SD-based boot before trying to write the image to the eMMC as that seems to be where people really run into problems and the right version of the PhoenixCard software (according to Orange Pi’s documentation) doesn’t seem to be available. After the flashing procedure is done the board will shutdown itself. Remove power from the board, extract the SD card from the board and apply power again to the board.
