WebThere is no way to reduce the speed without having iCUE installed to at least set a custom fan curve, being sure to use the coolant temp in the fan curve to set the pump speed to a lower speed. This is the value affected by fan speed. it is case and power setting specific, but most people will have an idle coolant temp of 4-7C above their room temp and see loads coolant temps of +6-10C higher than that. Recently, one of them has developed a rattling noise and both make an annoying humming sound at almost any speed. Once reaching 1300 RPM, the noise is just downright distracting. If you turn off all the fans, you will always hear it. It has to make some noise. However, you should not be able to hear it from 2-3 ft away with any other fans going. WebDec 10, 2024 · I noticed that by default, the H115i fan speed control is set in Corsair Link according to the "H115i" temp reading, which in my case never really exceeds 26-27C regardless of how hot the cpu gets. As a result, if you don't change this setting the fans will always hum at a quiet ~700-800 rpm even as the cpu exceeds 70C or more.
